Tips for job seekers

Fear.. will you let it hold you back from realizing your full potential?

I have seen it too often. People start down the path of pursuing their dream job only to turn it down after getting an offer because they’re afraid. When all the logical facts say they should make this move, their emotional fears hold them back. It’s a shame because I know it’s later regretted.

There are three kinds of fear that will keep some people from developing their full potential and maximizing their talents.

1. Self-doubt. This is the fear of failure. All highly successful people have failed over and over to achieve greatness. The failure itself is not so bad. The fair of failure and not taking the chance is far worse that failing! Failure is actually a good thing. This is how you learn what doesn’t work and how you grow. Don’t let self-doubt keep you out!!

2. Self-consciousness. If you worry about what other people think, nothing will ever get done in your life. Do NOT care what others think about what you feel your calling is.

3. Self-pity. Get over it and move on. If you have failures, pick yourself up and keep charging ahead!! Pity parties and poor me attitude will only attract more bad things. Be positive and grow and good things will come your way. If you lose your job, consider it a blessing and a chance to do something even greater!
